No Motor Zones in the Keys (specifically Key Largo)

LurchyLurchy Posts: 436 Deckhand
Just wondering if the No Motor Zones in the keys are 'pole and troll' zones.  Specifically the areas on the ocean side of Key Largo.  Am I permitted to enter these shallow areas with outboard trimmed up and electric motor being used for propulsion?  Thanks

Everything living on those oceanside flats are sensitive to noise and vibrations so push pole or stake out otherwise the perimeter of your boat will be a dead zone save for a cuda or nurse shark trying to suck a stone crab out of the rocky/coral bottom.
