14Nov 2018... Wabasso South... Trash can runneth over. A day full of Ladies, Cats and Jacks. At least they kept it interesting. Started at Pine Island, couple of short Snook. Shift to Hobart Landing, a 16 inch Trout and a few short Snapper. Nothing on the spoil islands. Explore a cut that I haven’t fished in years. More short Snook. Estuary… Mud bay, ladies and short Snapper. Johns Island/Vero. U-2’s stacked in the culvert. 20 inch Ugly out of the Mangroves and a 15 inch Sheepshead off of a dock. With an Ugly and a Trout in the camera, time to get serious about a Red for the Family Slam. Not happening today. Short Snook or Snapper in every Red hole.Hit a big Mangrove pocket, Ladies and Cats. Hit Hobart on the way home, big Ladies, Small Jacks and Spanish Mackerel all in play. Mackerel ate my Chug Bug. Earlier on the spoil islands, a Cuda ate my Flat Rap. Not a cheap day. All players released for future encounters. ICW an absolute zoo, Rag Baggers Southbound along with a few liveaboards.
