Nocatee/760 boat ramp

I was exploring google earth and ran across a boat ramp on the peace river off HWY 760 near Nocatee. Anyone ever launch there? How far up the river can you go with a combustion engine? I understand there are quality fish as far east as this in the river? Am I mistaken that early fall is a great time to explore this fishery?

That ramp is a bit iffy, more suitable for kayaks, Jon boats and airboats, etc. And no, not navigable with standard outboards. Check out Lettuce Lake just to the south. Excellent state ramp, and navigable probably five miles or so upriver. Excellent snook and tarpon fishery just beginning to heat up now through March
