Astor trip, Thanksgiving weekend

Heading up to Astor with family. Looking to put the grandkids on some specks and hopefully spend some time chasing stripers. Anyone got any info about what's biting and where? Didn't know if should stay in the river or go into Lake George or Dexter. Got in to some strippers once before at mouth of Alexander Creek so do plan on hitting that. Appreciate any help, especially for the grandkids side.

Good question. Cooler weather should get specks going. Guessing stripers in more current .
