Hard blow today

But fishing Amelia Island surf resulted in 2 whiting on shrimp in the wind and waves. Nothing else. Water very warm still

YEP...FISHED Talbot, saturday.....last 3 hours of the outgoing....bunch of medium whiting, lady fish, several small puppy drum, and a jack

    Busy, but no pomps !!

Water was clean when I got there, with good breaking wave action, but the last hour was laundry lint all on the swivels....that means dirty water !!......so packed up and went home.

I think I fished American Beach a little ways down from you--if you have a NC license plate.  Fished from 9-12 with shrimp, clams and cut finger mullet some tipped with fishbites shrimp or clam.  10 small (10" or less) whiting, 3 ~12-15" sailcats, 1 13" trout.  Everything was caught on shrimp.  So, not much to speak about.  The estimated 11 mph wind seemed more like 18-20 mph and 4 oz long shank sputniks had trouble holding.

We were fishing in Fernandina Beach?

This is my 1st time to Amelia Island.

Yeah the wind is gusting good.

I see mullet but nothing chasing it.
