Thursday I spent the day kayaking in Mosquito Lagoon. I landed a mangrove snapper and a few small trout. Today I went out on a party boat with a group of friends and caught several large red snapper (couldn't keep them). I had three fish break off my 100 lbs leader. I fought the fish few a few minutes but couldn't see what it was that was on the other end. The mate said it could have been a large goliath grouper since I was using a frozen finger mullet. Thanks to the crew of the Super Critter out of Ponce Inlet for a great trip.
