Mullet run

Looking for advice on a campground and area to stay for the mullet run. Coming over in an RV. Will be fishing off of kayak/paddleboards so would like to be somewhere with an easy spot to put in off the beach.

How about Sebastian Inlet state park

Jetty Park is good for that too.  I think you can drive out to the beach as well.

I was on ICW near Edgewater on Saturday and didn't see many mullet - don't know if I missed it again?

I don't think you missed it.  It has been warm this year.  I would say it's delayed.  Wait for it....

The best of this years mullet run has not happened yet, but it has started.

It's a "run"....they are not everywhere at the same time....

Today....they were pouring into the river at Sebastian inlet.....tomorrow...who knows.

Planning on end of October to the sebastian inlet state park. What size rods and terminal tackle are recommended?

How’s the red tide affecting the run?  Looks bad from the media and reports

I have not noticed anything changed on the river.... the issue seems to be on the beach.
