FYI: Publix, in Inverness, has the wild fresh salmon

Cooked it yesterday on a cedar plank and used Everglades seasoning on the grill, it was good.

    They have coho (silver) salmon this time of year.  I don't like it as much as sockeye or king salmon.  I find it too dry. It's OK fresh, but it doesn't freeze well unlike the other types of salmon. Planking is probably the best way to prepare coho.

    But I'm a salmon snob. So don't pay to much attention to what I say.  ;)

    It was fresh, when I bought it, it was just delivered. And it was reddish.

    Not a Salmon fan unless it is smoked. I can eat it in a pinch but it never overwhelmed me. I'll stick to fresh Florida fish. Thanks for the tip though, I am sure it will be useful to some.
