Boynton offshore 9/11

Solo am trip, started in shallow looking for black fin, picked up one in 250. Tried a patchy weed line in 350 for an hour with no luck so went deeper. Hit a more developed one in 650-700. Boated 6 Mahi lost a couple more. Couple Cuda and spent more time clearing jacks then weed. Back by 1. Trolled various artificials.

Glad you found them in 700! We went out same day out of Boca and couldn't keep the Jack's off our lines in what appeared to be the best weed patches a mahi could ask for. Bait all over, debris, birds. Nice work, solo at that!

Great day, congrats.  You definitely did well.   You always hate to lose one but that's a nice catch and you did it solo.
