Does anyone do Inshore trolling for kings??

I trolled for them once on the Edison reef. Not exactly inshore. Used stretch Mann 35s with wire leader. Got a 25 pounder. This was last May.

At times we have caught a,few trolling off Venice Inlet within 3 miles of shore. October the usual time. This year who knows.

Last summer lost a large one boat side 3 miles off Cayo Costa on Helen's barge. Hit my flatlined dead baitfish

Yes. They are on the beach around april or whenever the water temp is high 70's. Some tourney winners come right from Boca Grand Pass.
