Inshore Charter trip with TD Lacoss

Did a 1/2 day trip with TD on August 25 from 7a-11a. Met him at the boat dock and got to meet his dad, Terry Lacoss. If you don’t know who Terry is, just google his name. Terry holds numerous fishing records on Amelia Island including a 194lb Tarpon.
I chose Amelia Outfitters based on the Lacoss family history in the area and was not disappointed. TD had us catching fish in under 30 minutes of leaving the dock. We went to 6 different areas in 4hrs and caught a whole inshore slam and then some. We didn’t keep anything due to accommodations but would have had a few great meals.
For the day we caught a blue fish, a 20” flounder, a 21 and 18” trout plus numerous smaller ones, 18” black drum, 20” red drum, 2 24” sharks, 5-6 lady fish, an anchor and an oyster. Saw several dolphin and some pretty back water areas.
Used live shrimp under a float.
