Stainless Prop Repair?

RiverRat22RiverRat22 Posts: 49 Greenhorn
I just boat a used boat that came with a pretty beat up prop.  It looks like the previous owner tried to smooth out the leading edges with his grinder and did a terrible job.  I get over 20% slip when I run the boat with this prop.
Is this repairable? it's a Michigan Wheel prop, and a new one is around $300 so is it even worth it?  I live in Melbourne, is there a shop around here I can take it to?
Thanks in advance.

It probably is repairable but depending on how bad it is might depend on the repair bill, still probably cheaper than a new one though. Take it to a repair shop and they can tell you.

I agree with surfman, they can be repaired like new.
