Never got the appeal of Facebook.  I wouldn't call it a fad, given how wildly successful it was.  I suspect it will settle out just fine.

Nope.   Too volatile.   I like companies that actually make stuff. GE for example.   Not crazy high returns just steady safe money.   
Well it used to be.   Not doing so hot now.  I used to have stock in Rinker Materials, that joker split every other year.    Man I miss working there.

FYI, Immelt was a lawyer idiot, it’s amazing it held anything over the last 15 years. If GE doesn’t find another business man like Welch they will be taken over. Hopefully by a smarter company.

Maybe GE should break up? Their engine/turbine and power generation divisions are doing good. The others seem to be the drag?
