Forgot my seat, went out anyways

Drove the hour down to Everglades City, only to find I had forgotten my seat. Ended up paddling 10 miles anyways. My back is still upset about the decision. Only managed a few little trout, but it was a beautiful day.

Being comfortable is too important for me -- hence I fish a pro angler.  Luckily the seat is clipped into the kayak.... kind of hard to forget.  I have cancelled trips on account forgotten  mirage drives or a bad fish finder.

I have a buddy that fishes out of a Caper with no seat.  He stands up a lot of the time though.

I haven't used a seat in years (OK Prowler). I like to hang over the side and drift of lay down and and nap. A seat causes has too many straps to get stuff tied up in.

The Hobie Advantage seat is stupid expensive, but is very comfortable, and I have slept in it on more than one occasion.

The hero seat on  my vibe is  pretty  easy to  sit  sideways  on,  but I never nap while fishing as I rarely use natural bait.
