Crossing to Old Bahama Bay July 20

Will be running the Ribcraft over to OBB West End on Friday morning then returning on Sunday.

Leaving Rockledge at 6:00 am and typically trailer 2 hours south down to Stuart to cross.

May keep going to West Palm and try launching from Phil Foster for a change.  Anyone have any good or bad experiences launching from Phil Foster or leaving their vehicle there?

Thanks,
Mark

Just returned for a great weekend at OBB. Unrelated to my my visit was the Jupiter owners weekend with 44 Jupiter boats that showed up.  Meet a bunch of great people in that group.  As a former Jupiter owner myself, it made me miss my old boat.

We had a good crossing each way.  Cruised 40 mph on the crossing on Friday for the first 40 miles until we hit the sporty stuff then backed it down to around 20 mph.  Burned only 33 gallons on the crossing.

Stormy weather passed through all weekend and gave us time to run through the village to see old friends.

With all the new great looking Jupiters in the marina, 44 of them, I certainly had the smallest boat, in fact I didnt even get a slip,. They just slid me in between to other boats

Friday fun day running the bayside from OBB to Sandy Cay

Both the truck and the boat were thirsty after this run.

New boat motor cover for the Skiff that I keep at OBB,
