Catching Bait

I’ve never posted to the fly fishing forum, but thought some members here may appreciate these pics.  Coming home to the swamp after a trip to Wyoming I have received the customary razing from friends about spending 2 weeks catching bait.  Yeah, most brook trout are smaller than a large mullet.  But, for anyone that’s been fly fishing out West its an awesome experience.  This is my first trip taking my son and he really enjoyed it.  I can’t wait for next year.

Nothing wrong with the occasional change of scenery. I try to do 3-4 weeks in Quebec every year, catching bait. Northern Quebec and Labrador have monster brookies. I've seen pictures of 7lb fish, but the biggest I've ever caught was about 3lbs. Thanks for sharing, looks like a great trip.

I've heard about the brook trout in Labrador, it sounds amazing.  My biggest brookie was better measured by ounces vs. pounds.
