    Roster spot?
He was the first pick of the first round. The Bucs could have had Marcus Mariotta or anybody else in the 2015 draft!

It's one thing after another with this guy. Not a Bucs fan, die hard Flns fan, but we have our own QB problem, but at least they are not legal and moral issues.

This stuff happens daily with regular people but you don't hear about it because they aren't in the lime light. Who really cares? is it only because he is a professional sports player?

what is bs is what you said
there are no accounts she changed her story ever
winston initially said he never did anything, which is a lie
the nfl in its statement of his suspension said that they concluded he did do what her complaint stated:
In a statement, the NFL said Winston violated the league's personal conduct policy "by touching the driver in an inappropriate and sexual manner without her consent."

many people are saying he got off light, and just as many are calling for his release from the Buccaneers

The Bucs need a quarterback and a G.M., regardless of what happens to Winston.
I don't expect the w/l record to be any better this year.
This way, I cannot be disappointed.

So he got drunk and did something stupid.

That seems to happen a lot with the ingestion of ethanol.

Conchy would have traveled with Jim Jones to Guyana if he was a Nole.  IF Winston was a Gator, ole flip flop tree top would screaming so loud in Boynton about him I would probably hear him here in Delray

no story.  Winston said this act was uncharacteristic of him.  This isn't who he is.  Just a one time, lack of judgment.  It'll be ok.  He's still the role model every 'nole hopes to be.

There are plenty of ex seminoles that played for the Bucs that were upstanding individuals, Warrik Dunn and Derrick Brooks, winston is just not one of them
    winston is trash

For every Seminole that supports him, there's a Gator fan who hopes he fails/screws up.

    They knew who they drafted.

As hard as I try to care about pro sports it just doesn't work.

    Actually, I don't even try.

He showed his hand in college and they covered for him just because of his football skills.. What did you expect when he started making millions. That just escalates the problem, not help it.

The Dolphins refused to play the best backup Q'back in the NFL.

    This is hilarious.
College football teams success is dependent on who can sell free rides to college to the residents of the nastiest, crime filled ghettos. They have about a 4th grade education, but boy are they fast.
If they push the university to athletic success, all their escapades on campus are brushed under the rug because of the $$$$ brought to the school by over-the-hill fans and alums.
And everyone is surprised when there is a personal control and morality issues with these guys when they hit the big payout. It's harder to hide the behavior outside of the closed university system.
Why don't they cut to the chase and recruit the guys with the fastest 40 time that are in prison?
    SMH

    Winston is no different.

    UF already does this.
What has the Gators got to do with Winston? I did find it interesting that the friend of his who got him out of trouble at FSU by testifying Winston didn't do it was the same guy who lied this time trying to claim he was in the car with Winston.

If you wish to compare the teams, both have their problem children.Since 2010 FSU has had 27 players arrested and Florida has had 30. Nothing for either one to be proud of.

I would point out that FSU has had three players arrested since Taggart took over and the Gators have zero under Dan Mullens.

this has nothing to do with FSU or UF
It's about winston and the Buccaneers

once players leave their universities and go to the NFL, few people care where they went to school
and as stated, many GOOD individuals that played for the Buccaneers did come from FSU
winston is just not one of them

I still have a feeling that Bobby Bowden strongly disapproved of the conduct of Winston and may have been the reason for Bowden's dismissal.
