Jennings Forest Camping?

SwampStalkerSwampStalker Posts: 80 Deckhand
I got a hog quota for Jennings Forest and was wondering  if anyone on the Forum has ever camped with an RV somewhere around there. Doesn't seem to be anything very close for a travel trailer. Just curious. Thank you in advance.

Goldhead state park is about 20 minutes down the road, has camping. A nice park with fishing. Hogs have been slim in Jennings. but they are there, if youre willing to scout

I was involved with the state’s purchase of the Jennings property and understand the complexities, but I feel it’s too bad there is not a camping area for hunt season permit holders as part of Jennings Forest WMA. Such a feature would accommodate the Florida Outdoors experience.
Swamp Stalker I have been thinking about where you could camp nearby, no ideas yet.

Hunters are present yet relatively uncommon in Florida :wink
