I need someone to point me into the right direction to find a freshly caught barracuda for an upcoming film shoot I have next week in the South Florida Area. Most seafood markets don't seem to sell them for many different reasons.....Can you help me find one, or catch one for me? Please let me know!!! Needs to be fresh....or even still living would be preferable!!!

Here's a hint:  You won't find one in freshwater.

Gar Characin, Hujeta Gar, Rocket Gar, Pike Characin, Slant Nosed Gar. ... The Freshwater Barracuda is a characin, but it is certainly not your typical aquarium tetra! ... The nominate species, Hujeta Pike Characin or Slant-Nosed Gar C. hujeta hujeta, comes from Venezuela.

It doesn't grow big at all. Neither does it make A good pet.
A very dull cylindrical silvery fish.

The great barracuda is known for exploding on A bait.
Shortly after it loses it's stamina.

We all new what we were doing until DropTheHammer showed up.

Hit the charter boat docks near the ocean inlets and ask if they caught one.
