Homosassa 6-3 reds and snook.

Headed out of Homosassa Sunday morning. Ramp at Mcraes was just about empty. Fishing started slow we made our way to Masons creek and the wind was howling so we decided to stay in  the more protected creeks. Caught a 21 in snook off an oyster bar and then didn't have any bites for hours after that. Finally around 4 or 5 we managed to pick up a 27 in red and a few smaller snook and redfish. Ended up keeping 2 redfish. Overall a good day just a long time between fish. Water temp was 85 and caught most of the fish on gulp with weedless jig heads. Headed out again in the AM with the kids.

Good report. Been awhile since I've been around that area.
