I'd rater swim in a Cattle Watering hole in July when it's 1999 Degrees and you have to scrape the Pond scum to the side and walk thru Cow Piles just to get close.

My grandmothers farm pond in S GA (Vidalia) was where we fished for "Green Trout". This was also the pond where we swam to cool off after bailing hay etc. The opposite end of the pond had Black Angus watering-cooling as well.
