Suwannee River Fishing

So I want to take the boat to fish the river any suggestions on places to launch, bait and areas for redfish and trout.

You can launch at Suwannee Marina or Gateway marina. They will have bait, ice, and gas. No sure what kind of boat you have, but for redfish this time of year you should focus on grass line points, outside oyster bars and tcreek mouths Some places to try are Bumblebee, Double Barrel and the bars going out McGriff pass. For trout find some grass flats, I've had some good luck a week ago fishing 4-6 feet. There some flats off Bumblebee, Suwannee Sound and Hedemon. Hedemon is about 3.5 miles past the last channel marker.Fishing Suwannee has a learning curve so take it slow when going to the grass lines and creek mouths.
