Hopefully it stays at TS strength. If it goes as projected, it will hit PC and Mex Beach pretty good.

Not good timing for my bunch,,, wife, son and parent in laws are at the Ormond roost for a couple of weeks. Daughter interning for the summer at Disney  and my mom and dad are visiting some friends in Clearwater. Gonna have some wet weather for their trips. The hillbillies have effectively blockaded the state of Florida.

Nothing to see here.....The forecast for Ormond won't change much, it might even improve as it did not look good to begin with.
The water temp is too cool and conditions don't favor development.

We are having hurricane shutters installed in about three weeks. I finished worrying about the cone of probability.

Headlines read subtropical storm, This should be TD1, not a named storm. By naming subtropical storms I can see the headlines now. U.S. had more named storms in 2018 than anytime in previous history. (Enter global warming pundits)

I was in Ozello yesterday on my buddy's porch watching the forecasted 4' surge roll in. Only it was more like 4". The weather people get worse every year. Sooner or later they're gonna cry wolf one time too many, people will not listen, and a bunch will get hurt or die. This crud is getting to the ridiculous stage.

Yeah, it was rough, my beer almost fell off my console once!
I am glad to only be a bird hunter with bird dogs...being a shooter or dog handler or whatever other niche exists to separate appears to generate far too much about which to worry.

A month ago the water surged up the Steinhatchee river into my yard all the way up to the house, and that was just a rain event. Steinhatchee does not need the rain, at my house in Lutz we are dry as a bone, no rain for months, we need it bad.

This stupid storm had a feeder ban that just kept on streaming across Steinhatchee the whole weekend. Even though the surge only just came over the bank of the river a small amount. Still the woods are flooded and the ditches are flowing, been that way for three months up that way it seems.

For crying out loud, every time an Arab farts on the west coast of Africa, a new storm is named.
Last year, during Irma, our Governor advised everyone to evacuate due to 20 foot storm surges.
Scared the heck out of old people.  They were to be washed off the top of their houses.
    Irrisponsible to the extreme.
