New Smyrna This weekend, what's been biting?

Going up to see my brother this weekend in New Smyrna, he's not much of a fisherman or stayin on top of what's biting so what do you think we should try, near the inlet / nearshore for Cobes or backcountry for Reds n Snook now that it's warming up? He does have a 20 ft bay boat we'll be in.

Heh, I bet whoever told you that sells bait for a living. If the flounder are chewing at Ponce, it must be tobacco.

Conditions have been pure garbage for a few weeks now around there, muddy water and really rough wave action. I hit both jetties really hard the last couple days, and a couple weekends ago,  and the flounder are either not there or they’re not biting. I can usually limit out around this time of year anywhere in the area, but this has been the worst I’ve ever seen it at this time of year. Other than a run of giant bluefish a few weeks  ago, I have seen absolutely nothing biting at that inlet.
