My buddy is the  Mate on a boat in Chub 49 billfish in the last 22 days 
12 Blues 9 Whites the rest Sails.
They just cut off  Mahi and Wahoo.

Nice.Never had much luck there other than tons of cuda.

They are killing it only 2 people on the boat most days, Owner who runs the boat and Mate who rigs all baits, catches the fish and single hand release, and then cleans the boat back at the dock. I think he lost 10 lbs since they left FP. 
Next week they are headed to Cat.

when it's hot it's hot, put my my wife on 2 whites a sail and a blue all on 20 lbs tackle a few years ago, we were covered up all day

What kind of boat.  This sounds like an owner and mate I saw there last year or year before.  Can't remember.  It looked like a one man show with an observer on board.  lol

63 Gilliken they were not there last year, he just finished refitting the boat for this season.

I was there last April , did really well on blues . When the wind is right , the pocket goes off .
