Taking delivery of a new boat in a few days. Interested in how to take care of my powder coated t-top. Any special cleaning procedure, cleaning products, do’s & don’ts...... Thanks

    Don’t chip it. Once saltwater gets in th starts to bubble

    start saving for the eventual t-top removal and powder coat repair or strip job. Lots of people have the powder coat removed and spray with some kind of LineX or polish and possibly re-anodize.

    Powder coat does not belong on a boat. Mine started bubbling the second year or so... Can't really stop it. Especially where it is screwed through. The tightened down screws on your brand new boat have already cracked the hard powder coat. It's the nature of the beast.

    Anodized is much better, doesn't look as snazzy but, holds up way better. If you are only going to keep the boat 10 years you will be fine.
