Flair Hawk Help

Been fishing some flair hawks in the NSB area but get snagged every time. Working them low and slow but way too many snags. Tried bouncing them like a small plastic but then I don't feel the bottom very well. I have seen them in action and know they are productive but I haven't scored yet. I am using a 7'0 MH G.loomis so it' a little stiff for artificials. Maybe this is my issue since I am not feeling the bottom properly. Fishing around bridges and structure of course. I appreciate any input. Thanks
