My Family..........

Most of my dads guns

The motor off our 2 day old Mako in the driveway

My moms Lincoln Mark 4

My parents Motor home

My brothers Vette

My two motorcycles

Everything we owned at our cabin in Old Town. Including the sheets on the bed.

All of my tools

Countless bicycles

All of my sons guns and random stuff while in the hospital.

And much much more.

No one ever caught!

All while we lived in South Florida. 29 years in Ocala no issues.Except all of my sons guns when he lived in Orlando.

My virginity, by someone on this forums Mom.
I am glad to only be a bird hunter with bird dogs...being a shooter or dog handler or whatever other niche exists to separate appears to generate far too much about which to worry.

8000 watt generator from the back of my truck, backed against a cargo trailer in my driveway.
I don’t think I want to live in AC mans locale.  Did they steal your entire family, or were they picky?

You and your family might want to start locking things up.

In the 80s I had a ATC stolen out of my truck. The truck had a topper on it and I had the truck backed up against a wall. Thought it was safe. Thief crawled under truck, disconned transmission shifted it to neutral and pushed it out and stole the Honda.
Later after I moved to my present location tools and fishing tackle was stolen.
Couple years ago more tools and tackle stolen. This time they shot my cat. She liked to sleep on a roof and would jump down on a lower metal roof to get down. Pretty sure that is what happened and it scared the **** so he shot her. Small caliber, never heard it.

When dad grabbed the pool boy by the neck all those years ago, us kids just thought it was because he was a sh***y pool cleaner.

Wife's car was broken into last year.   little chit took her workout bag, and cracked the dash trying to get the GPS unit out.   He was caught by the cops, but we never recovered our stuff.   I had a bike stolen twice when i was a kid, from our back yard.

Amanda stole my heart back in high school.   then she broke it.

Lots of stuff off job sites. Always locked in conexes. They come in at night, use a torch to cut off the lock, and load up. Caught three of them, arrested, booked, rel asked on very small bail amount, never seen again. Stopped three idiots from stealing stuff out of my boat at gun point. They ran, I let them go. They were probably meth heads, the Steinhatchee area is full of them.

I've had a stereo and a gun stolen out of a car.  That's about it.

If your guns are not locked up you are an enabler. You do know how criminals get guns don't you. Why not cut that source off at the knees with RESPONSIBLE gun ownership?

Criminals steal locked up guns all the time. They get guns lots of ways. You shouldn't paint with so broad a brush.  When they break into your locked home and steal your locked up gun, will you be a ding ****?

My cousin had folks beat down his door, go inside and use pry bars to pry his safe loose from the floor, put a hand truck under it, and roll it out of the house without opening it. All the while the alarm was blaring, and the alarm company notified the cops (he lives in the country). Maybe you'd like to come tell him he's a ding ****?

I would be willing to bet that stealing gun safes is not a common thing compared to free range guns. If your guns are in a properly installed safe and stolen, there is not much you can do is there?

Seriously? I am surprised anyone would do that? Do you need a burner? Is your name Bourne?

You ever watched the YouTube video of a guy with a angle grinder break into a top of the line gun safe in minutes. The sides are thin with insulation. Cut it down the side, peel back and you are in.

I had my car broken into and my wallet stolen once about 40 years ago, Nothing since then. Company i worked for had some laptops stolen once and my store has been broken into a couple times for a few packs of cigarettes and beer before, Had some guys try to break into an ATM at night once. Destroyed the $3,000 ATM but didn't get the $300 in the vault,

    Former Mini Mart Magnate

Hey cadman. Remember Kwik King in Marion county next door? They had about 70 plus stores. One of my best customers for years. They had a ATM robbery once a week at a store.cosed They got away with the machine, disarmed the alarm, and never caught multiple times. Seems odd!!!

Your post said "All you ding dongs". You assumed that the guns were left unlocked. You only changed your tune when you got called out on it.

I forgot about my 8 track tape player stolen out of my car in high school.

Had a custom cast net stolen from front yard when I was younger.  It costs $220 20 years ago, which was a heck of a lot of lawns I had to mow!!
Had my truck opened up and searched, while I was out of country. (Wife left unlocked). **** spit his gum out and took a new piece of gum from the truck.  He left old gum and wrapper on seat.

Luckily, since then not any attempts.  Living in the country is nice, and having a 160# dog inside is also!

A car (got it back), a few bikes, skateboards, etc. over the years, my freaking tackle box out of the back of my truck, not sure what they thought it was worth but it sure was a pain replacing all that stuff.

The worst was my first fretless bass, after a show downtown. I guess someone just yanked it out of the back of my truck when I was stuck in traffic.

I thought it could have slung out (it couldn't have, just wishful thinking) and drove the route over and over almost till sunrise. Then I admitted defeat.

relax Francis, I bought some in a sealed bid auction from State Farm Ins back in 1979. Guns had been stolen, Insurance had been paid then LEO recovered a couple years later.
Previous owner declined to buy them back.
I don't even know if this still goes on but back then it was all on the up and up.

Sweet deal! I didn’t know they did that. In our new society I bet they destroy them.
