Hey folks if anyone on here is interested in ever getting a Van Stall and wonder if it is worth the price then check out my latest video explaining the PRO's & CONS of this fishing reel!       Yes, its a great reel with sealed,oiled ball bearings but is it worth
    three times a Shimano Stradic?To me,no and only because of cost.
       Its rather like Loomis rods,there so **** expensive you hate to
    fish with them because of breakage.Van Staal,same thing one would
    be really mad if stolen.

    Problem with Van Staals is you have to send them back to factory every year or warranty is void

    Problem with Van Staals is you have to send them back to factory every year or warranty is void
    This is absolutely true. 800$ Chinese reel with a limited 1 year warranty that only covers defects in manufacturing. And they're stiff, and have the worst line lay of any production spinning reel I've owned. And you have to send 50$ with that reel every year to maintain the warranty. It's the only reel I know of that actually taxes you for ownership.
