Hello and thanks in advance for any help. I recently moved to the northern end of Lake Tarpon and have access to a dock Most of my fishing experience has been saltwater and I'm struggling to net any decent live bait. I would like some shiners to catch some nice Bass but really anything would be fun. I've tried multiple types of artificals with no success. I primarily fish live or dead bait in saltwater so that's what I'm most comfortable with I have had no luck finding a local bait shop that carries any fresh water bait.
I'm looking for any tips to maybe chum up some good live bait or a bait shop that will sell freshwater bait. Shiners or otherwise.
I don't have a boat... Yet. So my spots are limited to the docks and shore line.
Thanks again for any help!

Small bluegill under a cork will catch bass. It's legal if you catch them with a hook.
That works but it needs to stay in the area to draw in the bait. Shiner guys use sinking bait for castnetting.
