2 Openings in 5,000-Acre QDM Lease in South Alabama

GottaGetOutdoorsGottaGetOutdoors Posts: 65 Greenhorn
Located in Crenshaw County, AL. This farm is a private getaway where there is something to do 12 months out of the year. Excellent deer and turkey hunting. Deer season runs to mid February and rut peak is first week in Feb. Great fishing in our 30-acre lake stocked with bass, bream and crappie. The lake produces 10-12 pound bass. I started the lease 21 years ago with 900 acres and added as neighboring lands became available. It is intensively managed for serious QDM.

Limited to 15 total members at $4,000 per member. Dues cover hunting rights, insurance, fall food plots, summer food plots, mineral sites, and feeders operated Aug-Feb. Each member is allowed 2 bucks, 6 does, 2 gobblers plus generous limits on fish. A shooter buck is to be 4.5 years or older. Camp headquarters is a 2-acre concrete pad overlooking the lake. Members set up their own camper/RV and service meter. Land is a mix of natural pine-hardwoods, river bottom hardwoods, 200 acres in flooded beaver ponds, 20 year old 2nd thinned pines, 2-10 year old planted pines, CRP fields, and a hayfield. Excellent habitat for deer and turkeys.
