    They are excellent. I have had some yellow bellies that were really good but IMHO all catfish are tasty.

    I'm going to catch a bunch the next 3 days. Them and Yellow Bellys too.
    Got 10 Set lines going out every night in the Glades. Bass fish all day and set lines at night.
    Might catch a couple Soft shells also ..Soft Shells , the Swamp  KFC....

    Caught a bunch of Channels as a bycatch while fishing Lake O for crappie the past couple of months. For some reason my family thinks Specks taste better than cats. I am glad they think that way..........

    The proper name is Spotted bullhead (Ameiurus serracanthus)
