Water level in the Glades

How is the water level Out in the Glades?  I'm looking at the Alley and Holiday park area.  It's a bit of a drive for me so I usually don't get to just go take a look for my self.  Thanks

We're in the middle of the dry season so things should be drying out nicely - but I'll defer to those that actually work that area since I'm farther to the south where the sweetwater meets the salt (Flamingo and Choko...).

    Water levels are down considerably.
They are about where you’d expect them for this time of the year.

for the last couple of weeks the bass fishing has been fantastic.  I’ve been average about 40 bass for a 3 hour trip.

Capt Bob, it was your post on FTF about your night trips that really pushed me over the edge.  I'm needing to get a fix and it really made me start to see if water levels were getting there.

David, thanks.  Not sure I can swing this weekend but I'm sure gonna try for the next.  Gotta get the boat ready. I sure love it when everything gets pushed off of the flats.  Mostly I fish really light weight fly rods for the exotics, I start to mess with the bass after I have that out of my system.  The bass seem cycle in size out there.  The last few years they have been steadily bigger, I hope that continues this year.  I plan on doing some hands on research...

The objective of the flowage easement is to bring down the verifiable high water levels in the Everglades by a foot and a half finished the following 60 to 90 days by moving water into the L-29 Canal on the north side
