Hit the st Augustine waters 6am Saturday. Fog was thick, but then had patches of clear. Ran a few miles north of vilano bridge, hit the creeks on last of the outgoing. Water was ugly, bugs were tough. Artificials were a no go, no bites. Found cleaner water a bit more toward the ICW, on the incoming, but still in the same creek. Put stinky dead shrimp down on the bottom, they started to bite. The rat reds were swallowing it, must be hungry. Worked through some small ones and hit a slot fish. The wind built to 10-20 out of the South, after catching this one ran to mantanzas and paddle boarded with the wife and kids, I picked them up at noon. Hey, not a huge day, but got a nice fish and had fun playing in mantanzas. Life is good
