Throwback Thursday - Yellowfin Grouper

Or is it Flashback Friday?  Whatever.  Was looking at some old photos while waiting for the winds to let up and found this from over 25 years ago.  Got it off N. Key Largo and didn't think that much of it at the time.  Don't remember the exact weight, since I don't think I weighed it by itself but it was over 35 lbs, which I now realize is pretty big for a Yellowfin.  Never a common species in these parts.  The most yellowfin I ever got in one day was 2. Used to be abundant off the Isaacs in the Bahamas but I haven't been there in over 30 years.  My dad took the photo, and while he may be a great fisherman, he's a lousy photographer!
