Dell/Win10 not recognizing Mem Card!

After transferring hundreds of photos from the same Mem Card and Camera to the same laptop, today, I can't get anything uploading or even 'seen' on the laptop from either the Mem Card directly in the slot, oc using the cord from the camera to the Dell.

Sticking the same card into my old Dell and I quickly get the popup menu.

Any suggestions?

Can you try a card reader? Is this the first time transferring with Win 10?

Thanks Flash.

Spent 30 mins in that loooong thread and still cannot get the card to be recognized. I had the same computer, same Win10 and the same card last Sept and popping the card into the slot, I'd quickly get a Menu asking what I wanted to do. Now, nothing........

With the card in and digging deep, I did find and look at my recent photos but could not figure out how to Upload them........ right click, looking everywhere........ nada.

I am no expert here, but if you can get the images off the card by using the other computer and maybe a flash drive, I would do that. Maybe the card needs to be formatted, maybe your slot is not reading anything, (did you try a different card in the same slot?) When you get the images off the card, I would re-format it in the camera. Good luck.

if i understand, you were able to see the photos on the card? if you go thru file explorer, you should be able to see the drive (card) & then see what is on it. if you can do that, you can highlight the photos on the card & drag & drop them into the folder on your hard drive.
