How about the Russian who got busted for doping? He's a curler! The only substance most curlers abuse is beer.

Is it too late to become a European women's curling coach?

Yes, but it's not too late to become a shuffleboard coach at The Villages.

I shook my head at that one too.  I think the Ukraine team spiked his Vodka.

I worked for 3 years as a pest control tech in the Villages and north Lake/south Marion counties.    I know all too well.   I don't know what all the loufa sponges mean but i know when they're on the car antenna that's some kind of green light for shenanigans.

I've been skiing since I was in elementary school. Took up snowboarding about 5 or 6 years ago. Having surfed and skateboarded most of my life I thought, no problem. Little tougher learning curve than I thought. Like surfing you need to remember to keep one edge dug in pretty consistently. Hardest part is learning to get on and off the lift with one of your boots unhooked. I do enjoy snowboarding more than skiing now and probably wont go back.

Snowboard is easier than ski in the way that is faster achieve enough skill to have fun.
Then being on a iced downhill with something which slides under your feet is something to learn to control in any case.

Jokes aside Lindsey is one of the greatest of any time, Sofia could become a great one in the next couple of years.

Not so polite quoting myself but I think it's okay after her Olympic gold and today's news ;)

Skiing: Goggia wins downhill world cup (3)

Second to only rival Vonn in last race in Sweden

(ANSA) - Aare, March 14 - Italy's Sofia Goggia on Wednesday won the women's downhill World Cup by finishing second in the last race of the season in Aare in Sweden behind her only rival, America's Lindsey Vonn. Goggia, who recently won gold in the Olympic Games, is the second Italian to win a downhill World Cup after Isolde Kostner in 2001 and 2002.
Vonn set a new record of 82 World Cup wins.
America's Alice Mackennis came third on Wednesday.

IIRC she wasn't to tough on the eyes in addition to being a gold medal skier.

I used to start with “ hold my beer “.  The acrobatics seemed easier without that encumbrance.
On the other hand I don’t remember picking up too many, maybe I did them wrong. Probably should have tried harder not to get hurt.

I know little about winter sports, but I will watch as much as I can and cheer for the Americans. Additionally, have the games in the Republic of Korea has some interesting storylines.
