Lagoon water level

Is this extra low water level in Mosquito Lagoon normal for this time of year? Seems extreme to me.....

I would have to agree. It is usually low this time of year but not this low

I guess its been drier than normal this winter, even though it almost flooded with the hurricane last year. Water is very low in the IRL south region as well.

Has anyone been back near or behind Pardon Island or south of Pelican Island on the south end of the lagoon recently? How low is it getting back in there?

I was at the southern end in max hoeck Creek just last week. It was super low, still managed to catch a nice red though.

No. But I can tell you it's low. Very low.

Dry winter has been making me seriously consider a new skiff!
