back strap stew in the slow cooker

first tme to try this in a slow cooker. original recipe was in a dutch oven and cooked in the oven.
start with a layer of bacon, then a layer of sliced potatoes, then a layer of browned venison madallions, a layer of onion rings and carrot slices and bell pepper slivers, topped with a layer of bacon. salt, pepper and garlic powder on each set of layers. then repeat another series of the same. put as many layers as you have ingredients. i ran out of bacon or the top would be covered with it. we'll just have to wait and see.

the meat was a little dry for my taste, but everything else was good. biscuits came out great. made for some good soppin!
