Brrrrr at The Blackthorn!

Hit the Blackthorn area Saturday. I was a little surprised to see as many boats as I saw. Trouble was, I saw nobody pulling up any fish to speak of, spare for the occasional grunt or lizard fish. Water temp showed between 58 and 59 degrees all day. I managed a few grunts and a seabass, and called it a day. I talked to a few guys who were diving and spearfishing, and they said the fish were there, just not feeding. Too cold I imagine.

I was thinking of going Sunday, but having just gotten over a cold decided against it. Glad I did. Gonna wait until February. Hope for the Sheepie spawn
