Ruskin area?

Need a little advice. Going out this week from E. G. Simmons. It'll be my first time out in that area and just wondering if there are any specific areas best avoided. Don't want to run into any sandbars or anything else for that matter. Thanks for any pointers.

Earl just be careful leaving the ramp the channel you have to take is very narrow and very shallow along it. if you don't know how to go straight out you have to follow the channel back towards little harbor[Bahia bch]

Thanks for the heads up. Did a google search and it looks a little dicey for a 1st timer, by himself.

Try cockroach it's not difficult at all, just shallow, and follow the channel markers out and you're fine.

unless you have a big boat and are older it can be tough getting in the boat.
