2018 SFKFC BBQ SWAP MEET at Von D. Mizell- Eula Johnson Park
Come join us for a family fun day at the beach.
We will be trying out kayaks, offshore launching and landing tips, talks of FISHING and Buy, Sell, Trade plus Cast netting demos, and more! Hope to see you there!
Please bring whatever you can for the cookout, soft drinks, hot dogs, burgers or meats are welcome!
Alcoholic beverages ARE NOT allowed
You are welcome to bring any used or new Kayak or Fishing related gear you may want to sell or offer for trade.
Keep in mind that this is a State Park and a small entrance fee will be collected by the Park Rangers at the entrance.

2018 is the 3rd year that the club has run a year long kayak fishing tournament called SFKFC Kayak Wars. Not to be confused with Kayak Wars - An international year long kayak fishing competition, but very similar in the point system. All catches for SFKFC Kayak Wars must be taken in the state of Florida.
The winners from the 2017 SFKFC Kayak Wars, will be receiving awards at the Barbecue, and first place winner Bobby Buzaki will give us a talk about inshore fishing techniques. Brandon Nodal and I will also be at the Barbeque talking about offshore kayak fishing.
South Florida Kayak Fishing Club can be joined for free on Facebook. People that want to develop their skills of kayak fishing can connect with like minded anglers through this club. I encourage anyone interested in learning how to kayak fish to join the club and attend the barbecue. At present there are about 50 people attending.
