I don't really find words or phrases annoying in and of themselves.

I find ignorance and prejudice annoying.

Weak and no self control. Much like the unemployed film maker that used to lurk these halls, every thread has to be twisted around to be all about them.
You guys are hurting my feelings.
And here I thought you liked me the whole time.
Still, I'd prefer to discuss other topics....so perhaps we can try to do that.

I'm certainly game if you are...Mike

Obviously, to comment on the topic at hand, not unlike your first if not your second post.

You guys shouldn't be so ****.

Or when conservatives are acting like snowflakes.

Is that condescending enough, or should I try harder?

Awesome is the most used over rated word.

    On sale = for sale

    For sale = on sale

    Car dealers notorious for sales.

Bs you show up for sale they always try to get the most out of you.
    On sale = ?

    That can't be it....because....
I don't really find words or phrases annoying in and of themselves.
    So...I'm guessing that, either.....
    1. You don't know.
    2. You lack self control as lucky suggests
I think it's the former.....You don't really know why you do what you do.

Dude, you should have been here yesterday!

Each and every day I give 110% in an attempt to be the upmost unique poster on this forum, by and in large, but at the end of the day that's neither here nor there.

With that said, it is a mute point that the fact of the matter is I would give all my beer money to a Ex-Navy Seal to "de-oxidize" all the Mil-Spec snowflakes around here.

It is what it is. Just sayin': Lighten up. It's the holiday season and we can say Merry Christmas again!

Been lied to just about every single time I've gone to look at a vehicle.

"Do you still have the XYZ, lot number 38023023?"

"yup sure do come on down"

-I show up 30 minutes later-

"we sold that car last week but i've got a beau-"

    "we're outta here"

Have you ever tried to explain something to someone, and halfway through it you get the "oh right right right".... no its not right right right because I haven't finished explaining it to you yet and you just made it perfectly clear that you're not paying attention and you are going to off and immediately screw everything up you just asked me about.

Irregardless when they mean regardless. "I could care less "when they mean "I couldn't care less". I bet I can think up more

"At the end if the day" grates on my nerves. Many previously cited such as "irregardless" and "could care less". I will ask how much less you could care only to have the person look at me as if I am speaking a foreign language.

Lets say I cared enough to post on this, I could possibly care less after I'm done. Irregardless you can look that one up yourself regardless of what I think. At the and of the day it's not going to hurt my feelings.

    "Now your on the trolley"

Can I throw on my favorite phrase?

    "Right on ****"

It's not a phrase, but my biggest pet peeve may be programmers who personify their code or computer. "Then it asks for my username". That's not even a good example, but illustrates what I am talking about. The only person who gets a pass is my mom when she's explaining her computer issue.

Their probably just unaware of the affect they're words wood have on us. Its no big deal and we should just except it. I wouldn't altar a single word. They've been served there just deserts, and I would of maid the same mistake. Let sleeping dogs lay. They probably never past English class anyway, and your far two picky about these things.

Anyone who feels that if so many more students whom we haven’t actually admitted are sitting in on the course than ones we have that the room had to be changed, then probably auditors will have to be excluded, is likely to agree that the curriculum needs revision.

So you're saying it's not humor?
Yea....I didn't think so but.....humor is so subjective.
