    Great photo... Trout love Clousers and that basic chartreuse over white color is hard to beat...

    All credit to my iPhone for turning a pretty small trout into a half-decent photo.
    The truth is, that "fly" is barely a fly. It's a high-tied Clouser with huge dumbell eyes, and pretty much nothing but tinsel. Works pretty well on pompano, but it is dangerously close to just a glorified bucktail.

    As a guy who not only ties flies but also bucktails (in great quantity...) I resemble that remark... Some of the deadliest fly patterns around are so sparsely tied that most would pass them by in a fly shop's bin...
