Solar trickle charger reading 13.5+ volts?

I have my boat battery on a 15w battery tender solar panel which acts as a trickle charger. It says it protects against overcharging (I assume it shuts off at X volts). I dont remember the exact reading but I think when I checked it today it was around 13.5 or more, is this normal for a trickle charger of am I going to ruin my battery overtime?

Normal. Batteries typically charge at between 13.5 and 14.5 volts

Ok "charging" at 13.5+ volts is normal, but most people only "charge" a few times a year so its not thought about, but having a 13.5+ volt constant reading is what I'm saying since I just put the solar panel on when I drop the boat at the storage so basically that's always the reading... I guess when your run your boat volts are high and thats not bad for it? Have to ask though :USA
