Older boat with newer motor. This is a 1974 Browning Monterey 18-foot fiberglass tri-hull bow-rider. It has a 1990 120-HP Evinrude outboard motor. Galvanized EZ-Loader trailer.
This boat and motor have been in my family since brand new! Good boat for fishing, tubing, or just running around the lake with your family.
Boat is old and a bit ugly, but floats and rides good. No frills - easy maintenance (no fancy upholstery to clean or worry about dog scratching-up). Brand new steering cable, and the "no feedback" steering helm is only couple years old (you can let go of steering wheel and it won't spin out). New battery. One 6-gallon portable fuel tank included. Three life jackets included. Snap-on canvas cover for front section.
Motor is a 1990 Evinrude 120HP. Very well maintained. Only fresh water use in last 17 years! Lower unit seals and water pump replaced last season. Three spare props (2 need repair though). Good compression (135-140 psi) on all four cylinders. Motor's VRO oil pump removed, so you must premix gas with 2-stroke oil at 50:1. Motor always starts easily and runs strong. Power trim and tilt.
Galvanized trailer in good shape. Needs new tires.
Includes original Owner's manuals for boat and motor (see photos). Also, shop repair manual for motor.
