Cuse @ FSU

ResinheadResinhead Posts: 10,987 AG
Would like to see FSU win for the players but I'm thinking they want changes more than anyone.

That being said, I'm putting my money on Syracuse and the +4.5. They've had a bye week and run uptempo that will keep FSU's defense trying to catch their breath.

We'll be in lot 6 tailgating at 10am till who knows when so if anyone is around and wants to have a drink or 6 let me know.

Go Noles!

I think FSU might win this one is a close game unless your players have just given up. FSU will definitely lose to Clemson beat Del State and who knows against Florida with McElwain gone and Shannon in charge. Syracuse hasn't won an away game yet.

Real fans never put their money on the opposition.

Syracuse by 7. Thought I would bring this back up so FSU fans could make more comments. Oh wait, they are more interested in Gata. Sorry. My bad. Should have let it sink to the bottom.

Should be a good game. The Syracuse quarterback is the real deal and their pass rush will put a hurting on the thin man..

there doesn't seem to be that much interest in this program now that it's no longer winning, definitely an absence of one very prolific poster that claims to be a nole fan

I've been an admirer of the FSU/Bobby Bowden program for many years.
    Bowden built the freaking school!
    What did he get??

Syracuse might be one of the best coaches teams in the country. Just watch some of his after game speeches... I imagine some big name schools will come knocking for him soon. He can get his boys to play at a high level, something that jimbo has not done this year.

Typical FSU vs Cuse game. Nobody cares. I'll be offshore fishing with the kids.

I wouldn't care whether they were winning all the games if I had the opportunity to go offshore, I would go!

    Akers looks good this game!

Ishmael from cuse looks great too. He's gotta be one of the best in college.

Noles finally win one at home.

They were lucky the field goal was missed because Syracuse had all the momentum and FSU really sucks in the red zone.

    You got that right!

They won by what, a few inches?

More like a few feet. But I wouldn't sat we won, just that Syracuse lost. The d tense was pitiful the last drive. Kelly has got to go.

Offshore, inshore, or to the woods. I've been a FSU fan since before Bobby was there, and miss d more UF-FSU games than I've watched because I'm almost always hunting that weekend. I can tape the game, I can't tape a day I miss in the woods.

Sounds like FSU tried to give this one away but Cuse wouldn't take it. Continuing the longest bowl streak in CFB looking better now.

    :rotflmao

You really think FSU can beat Clemson?

They lose to Clemson, they are out of the bowl picture.

No they are not Math Wizard.

FSU is 3-5 with games left against

    Clemson
    Delware State
    UF
    LA Monroe

win 3 and they are in.

When are they playing LA Monroe? I heard that game was not going to be played. If they make it up, you could be correct, but I find nothing on that game being played. They usually don't reschedule non conference games.

It's been talked about for weeks. Jimbo even talked about in several press conferences. Look for an official announcement this week. It will be after the UF game.

I heard it was discussed, the other option was to argue an exception due to Hurricane Irma cancelling the game. FSU has to have a school willing to play then too. I guess if the money is there, some team will play to lose to give FSU a bowl game.

Things are bad at FSU when they have to pay an opponent to let them beat them to get a crappy bowl.

Cam Akers is the real deal. He's going to be one of the best in FSU history.

"In front of 71,805 fans in Doak Campbell Stadium, Akers rushed for 199 yards on 22 carries and two touchdowns. It was the 14th most rushing yards by a FSU running back in a single game in FSU history, and the most by a true freshman since Greg Allen ran for 322 as a true freshman. It is the second most all time."

They are lobbying to play the game. Only way they can get in otherwise.

They could just admit they suck and aren't worth being in a bowl. Even if the Gators manage to win two of their next three, I will say they don't deserve a bowl this year.

Of course, if we could keep FSU out of bowl, that might be worth celebrating.:)

At least the FSU players haven't given up again like the Gatas. You might as well cancel the rest if your games because they dont give a chit and it shows. Embarrassing.

"Florida linebacker David Reese called out some of his teammates for essentially quitting during the Gators' blowout loss to Missouri on Saturday.

"It's sometimes disappointing when everybody doesn't want to come together and just play for each other," Reese said after the 45-16 shellacking. "That's sad to see."

I still hope Shannon can get them motivated a little. Not sure how he does that. Maybe just let the back ups play. South Carolina will be another major embarrassment if we play like last week.
