I turned my back on the NFL as soon as the protests started to spread. I have watched not one minute of it this year and will not do so. Lost of folks are doing the same.

I am a football fan. I am not a fan of any player taking a knee. They can rot.

Surely you recognize NCCA D 1 football is as corrupt ( maybe more so) than the NFL?

Has NOTHING to do with corruption. It has to do with a bunch of unappreciative wastes of human hide disrespecting this nation and those who have sacraficed so much for it.

I hope each knee bent in protest gets blown out on the field.

I know you are smart enough to realize that this is all an anti-trump protest. Nothing more (apart from a few carry-over players).

But yours is the easier way to express yourself, so you swallow the Kool-Aid.

I do not care if they are protesting, Trump, the klan, their pay, concussions or the price of weed. You do not protest against the flag of this nation. They are now below any other group of humans in status in this nation as far as I am concerned.

    Your personal call.

Personally I would have pedophiles, rapists, murderers, terrorists, and a whole hosts of others on my list.

But I do realize people have different tolerance levels.

While I understand you have not been an American citizen very long and probably don't have much "skin in the game" so to speak, I'm starting to get the feeling you would be one of those in the flag kneeler camp if it suited your agenda......true?

Have the Texan players never heard that phrase before?

You guys still don't get it. It is not about their right to protest. They can do whatever they want on their own time. I have a problem with them doing it on the job where paying customers may be offended.

Politics and sports need to be separated.

Their employers seem to be fine with it. So what's the problem with letting them manage their own businesses?

If their customers want to stop buying their product because of it, then they can also do that.

    What a wonderful free country!

So you agree, Trump should have kept his yap shut?

Yep, that is why I am not watching anymore. Many of the owners are against the kneeling but haven't got support from the league.

No, Trump did not start it, he tried to put an end to it but Goodell has no spine.

There is no such separate entity as "the league."

The team owners ARE the league.

I don't care if they take a knee..take a knee if you want. The whole debate is absurd to me. I love football and will continue to watch it. If it offends you don't watch the game. I get that too. The irony is that the Houston and Seattle game was probably the best game of the season this year despite the the controversy surrounding Houston. And the Michigan state north western game that went to triple overtime was phenomenal...I dig football and I will never stop watching ...not concerned with kneeling...and yes trump should have have kept his fat yap shut and we wouldn't be in this place. Stupidity on his part....utter ignorance imo.
