Appliance Repair? Anyone do this or know someone?

Fridge stopped cooling. I tried all the things I was comfortable trying after googling. Want someone to look at it that knows what the heck they are doing.

It is a maytag if that matters.

Actually I did...for about 5 days....

Compressor seized evidently. You think that could have something to do with it?

My neighbor is a long time appliance repairman told me after Irma to keep an eye on my fridge and freezer,says he has seen a lot of cpmpressors go bad after being run on generators for any length of time.
