"Mad dogs and Englishmen"
There's a quote from Noel Coward that goes, "Only mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the noonday sun". Well, only old guys with a fishing disease go out in this windy weather! However, "fishing is usually best before a front" and there's a front coming in so this old guy tried it for a couple of hours until the wind noise drove me off the water. Good call. Two small jacks and four, yes four small snook. All caught on 1/8th ounce jigs with a white jerk bait. At least I wasn't skunked and it's better than sitting home wishing I was fishing! Water temp 75 degrees in the Little Homosassa and the water is falling, falling, falling. Getting really skinny with this east wind. No pictures but a true story!
SO WHEN IS THIS "OLD ENOUGH TO KNOW BETTER" SUPPOSED TO KICK IN?
